Beautiful views from the site, including a bench overlooking the lake, and incredibly kind and helpful camp host. The composting toilet facilities are nearby and clean with no notable odor. The parking for the site is pull through, but on the main road, which would be challenging for some rigs.

Was beautiful to stay there, ramadas, bathrooms, picnic tables and a great view! Nice camp host! National Forests are a bit pricey considering no water or electric

my best camping experience in 2 weeks of camping my way to california. THe showers were non-functional, but another campground had working howers. WIldlife was prevelant, hiking was available, very nice lake , just a very windy week. SAW Quail, coyotes, rabbits, ducks, hawks, no snakes, cliff dwellings, visitor center was nice. Wish they had wifi, but it was a great trip.

Cool area, campground was overall nice. There was no hot water in showers when I was there but you could go to windy hill 10 minutes down the road and use theirs. I ended up switching campgrounds to windy hill after 3 nights.

Nice, quiet campground with a beautiful view of Roosevelt Lake. Be careful about booking your site next to a double site, they can get noisy but the evenings were peaceful. Would have given a better rating if the showers had been working but I understand that “things happen”.

Have been going to Cholla campground for 10 years now. The facilities in general are getting pretty shabby.
