My husband and I are probably just spoiled with amazing campsites in CO, so take my review with a grain of salt. We didn’t love it here, but we enjoyed ourselves. The camp hosts at check in were incredibly nice and helpful, though, which is what contributed to it being a good experience. The sites are too close together, it can be confusing to navigate around at first, kids/dogs are extremely loud (we didn’t mind that too much, though) and the bathrooms weren’t the best I’ve seen. On the plus side, the trail past F10 to the creek is beautiful and lots of fun. We won’t be back, but we made good memories. :)

It was pretty good, everyone was very nice, and most things were okay, but because we were near the outhouses, the smell was extremely pervasive at all times of day. The camps were also close together, so it felt quite cramped.

beautiful campground and setting. Super friendly staff-best I have encountered in 65 years. Great location on Oak Creek and quiet in the evening and early morning.

Very nice, quiet location. Arrived at 8pm to our spot and the neighbors were already asleep. They gave us an earful the following morning about waking them up while we backed in our RV to the site. Quiet hours were 10pm so they were being a little dramatic. Spots are tight, w had a 32 ft RV and it took a bit of maneuvering to get in straight. Cute little creek in the area, along with lots of trees.

Camp host Hugo and his wife were very nice people but there was one camphost ( I wish I remember his name) who’s the total opposite. Mustache with eyeglasses. Arrogant with macho ego. Besides that, we loved Cave Springs, the river/creek, bunch of trees=shade, wide and clean campsites. They keep their toilets clean but still has awful smell it wakes me up at night. We were camped not too far from it the first 3 nights and moved to a campsite further away from it the last 3 days we were there. Also, the broken shower was inconvenient but not the hosts fault. Besides we didn’t even know that there was shower until we asked where we could shower. Overall, I give them a 4. We had memorable stay.
