This is a beautiful campground, with a well enforced radio-ban to ensure a sense of serenity in nature. Our site was a short walk away from a beautiful little swimming hole. Campsites were extremely well maintained / clean with a gravel tent pad and well-equipped fire pit. Only problem we had was that hand sanitizer was not replenished at the nearest comfort station / bathroom to our campsite during our stay, so we just brought our own. Otherwise, camp hosts were very helpful / friendly and made our stay in Sedona very easy / comfortable.

My family has been going to Cave Springs for over 50 years. The campgrounds are in need of some updating. The campsites are not rv friendly with not level, dangerous with all the rocks and not true sized for rigs. The water that comes out of showers are too hot with no way to adjust temperature. I happen to be in a shower while other units were being cleaned and between the heat and smell of bleach from the host cleaning I feel sick and by the end of shower like I was going to pass out. Vault toilets are old and smell even when just walking by them. Also, hosts riding around in golf carts smoking was not appreciated as some of my party is very sensitive to smoke. In addition, that same host seemed to always be in a bad mood. We would not have approached him for anything. Overall beautiful area!

Great location walking distance to Oak Creek. The staff was super friendly and the office has everything you need if you forgot something. My only complaint was the noise. Even though the rules state no radios, some groups were playing music and partying well into quiet hours. The area is nice but unfortunately a lot of people come to party and leave behind trash.

The facility was very clean and well run. Check-in was easy. Late night noisy campers were quieted down by staff. The camp store has essentials and fire wood. The location on Oak Creek is perfect. There’s a lovely little walk close by through an old homestead.

Campsites are extremely small, not at all what the website describes. You can not fit a trailer in the designated spots. They blocked all sites with rock, so no "pull-through" sites are on-site, as described on the website. I jade 2 different sites for 2 separate trailers. 1, trailer 26ft. 2nd trailer was a pop up. Both sites parking was too small to fit either trailer. Plan on tent only if you decide to go. We had to leave and go elsewhere to camp. Very disappointing.

Very crowded with sites close together. Must have been a big family reunion of some sort with loud people all day. Dogs getting off their lines, people leaving tons trash at the creek...
The RESTROOMS were a big deal. They couldnt keep up with the amount of people. Some toilets were full! The smell was the worst...or maybe the worst was the fact that the doors were locking so people couldn't get in to use them. This is a huge problem! The camp hosts all said "off duty" I'm not sure why. Any issue had to be mentioned at the front when they were open. Why have signs at all? Especially when no one is enforcing any rules. I'm sad because this is such a beautiful area but the campground and people problems pushed us to leave early.

When I arrive there I had four spots because I had multiple vehicles I actually had four spots three trailers on three spots and the other one was for parking I kept being harassed because they said I moved a trailer from my fourth spot even if I did what would it matter if I paid for the four spots to park my three vehicles. I did not have more than I was supposed to on my campsite but the person who was checking in was fine but suffers from memory issues and harassing me regarding a missing trailer I don’t see why anyone on a camping trip would move a trailer move it back and hide it from anybody. It seemed kind of odd behavior when I had to keep explaining that I did not have a fourth trailer that I reserved for spots being the size of my vehicles may need more space. I’m a planner on vacation and understood your rules I did not want to have issues with parking therefore I reserve more spots than I needed for my cars. The park was very packed overwhelming packed toilets were full and overflowing something I’m not used to not sure if we’ll be back again not used to this type of service even if it is camping. Had the people cleaned up the toilets at least drained some of the plumbing it wouldn’t have been so bad but that was way too much being that we’re coming out of Covid and very dirty not sure who is responsible for that. Also harassing people over a disappearing Trailor seems to be a little over the top when it was never there

We were beyond happy with our camping experience, my husband and I are making this camp site a yearly family tradition, this was our second year bringing our grandkids out here and they had a great time! The view and trails are beyond beautiful and the location is so close to slide rock and grasshopper creek. We even made new friends with our camping neighbors!

My husband and I are probably just spoiled with amazing campsites in CO, so take my review with a grain of salt. We didn’t love it here, but we enjoyed ourselves. The camp hosts at check in were incredibly nice and helpful, though, which is what contributed to it being a good experience. The sites are too close together, it can be confusing to navigate around at first, kids/dogs are extremely loud (we didn’t mind that too much, though) and the bathrooms weren’t the best I’ve seen. On the plus side, the trail past F10 to the creek is beautiful and lots of fun. We won’t be back, but we made good memories. :)
