Nice campsite, table and fire pit are on even ground. The site is right next to the camp hosts. You might have difficulty parking a larger SUV or truck because of the tight parking shared with Site 10. I don’t recommend this site if you have a trailer. The site is not on the river, but still close enough. The hosts were very nice and the vault toilets were clean.

Everything actually there was great. Cozy, chill environment. Well-kept sites. Helpful host. Beautiful scenery with walking access to Oak Creek. Pit toilet bathrooms very clean, given what they are. Convenient walking path to Sterling Pass trailhead. Only knocks are acceptable (more so knowing what you're getting into): some road noise, tight entrance/exit via main road, lack of showers. Would recommend/return someday.

Great location. Loved the sites, 5 up high away from people but closer to the road. 5 closer to the creek. Great bird watching and proximity to town and hiking. Also very nice fire pits and grills.

Camp host was amazing. Very friendly and made it clear that if we needed anything to let her know. Site 15 info is a bit misleading as it does not state that you cannot park at your site. Parking for this site is about 75ft away on the blacktop. Basically you have a parking spot and then have to walk to your site. We were in a campervan and so ended up feeling like we stayed in a parking lot. The site next to us (14) was also a camper van and we were parked nose to tail. HOWEVER. This campground is in a great location and is very beautiful. I would just say that if you're wanting to park at your site, avoid sites 15,14,13 & 12. I believe you can park at all of the other sites. Enjoy!

We stayed in 19, we were on the edge by the creek, so it felt more private even though the campsites were full. Pit toilets were clean, host was nice. Love that we could just walk across 89 and start Sterling pass trail. So peaceful hearing the creek

Small campground with beautiful views. We lucked out and got a spot here for 2 days and loved the place. Slide Rock is a 5 minute drive and highly recommend. Sedona Arizona is also just down the road. If you are lucky enough to get a spot here take it right away or you will miss out .

Just a perfect stay. Sure, the road is noisy and the headlights are bright. And the parking space for No. 9 is tight (we had a standard suv and it was fine). But the location is wonderful, you hear the river all night long, it has all the basics you need at a campsite (bathrooms are clean, spicket works, and firewood is $8/pack), and you get to hike Sedona. Perfect campsite.
