Near Sedona area hiking and other amenities. Clear, cool stream is great for swimming. Sites are packed in too tightly with almost no vegetation between. Vault toilets were an older design but clean for their age. Campground host sold firewood - an increasingly rare amenity. Insufficient recycling.

We had a blast! The park is perfectly small and quiet. Placed along the scenic highway and the Oak River. River access is quite easy with a few places to dunk your whole body. The camp host were very helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!!

Sites 18 is next to the river and the campground is beautiful. We had a few issues though, the main one being that the "drinking" water is undrinkable. It's yellow and tastes strongly like metal, even after we filtered it the taste remained so we had to buy water at the grocery store in sedona. The other issue is that the rules don't really seem to be enforced here, our neighbors were talking until 12, when we told them to be quieter, and let their fire die out instead of putting it out. This meant that our tent got smoked the whole night. The camphosts don't check anything

Small campground, and a bit closely-arranged, but excellent access to several wonderful and relaxing spots along the creek. Not much road noise. Great, easy trail to a popular swimming hole/cliff-jumping spot just south of campground. First time camping here, and it's a new fave. One caveat: the water from the camp spigots is rusty and smells like sulfur. Bring plenty of your own drinking water.
