I was really impressed with the care the hosts put into this place! Ms. Becky, Jennifer, and Frank were all amazing! It's obvious they care about their job and love what they do. Their passion for this gem was as beautiful as the site itself!
The restrooms were always clean, Jennifer booked me another night as soon as she learned of a cancelation the next day, and Frank saved me and my dog from a snake (you know, bc nature happens in these kinds of places!) They were so helpful and attentive! And definitely didn't hesitate to address the annoying campers who were too loud or didn't pay attention to their dogs who kept wandering into your camp. (There are so many trees, please respect the space of others and the safety of your own doggo by keeping them leashed, I used a 20 ft lead and my puppy had plenty of room without bothering anyone else.)
Did I mention. The restrooms were always clean?
The creek was very accessible for me and my doggo to jump in. Beautiful trails within walking distance, many more very close. Not a lot of cell service but my dog and I just jumped in the car and drove and found so many things to get into!! (I was happy to keep my phone on airplane mode for three days!)
Notes for future campers: bring your hammocks and citronella candles. The campground provides an insane amount of shade, I wish I had another pair of pants with me. And also be prepared for the temperature to be higher anywhere else you adventure to.
Honestly the best trip of my life, can't wait to do it again!! And Jovi and I will definitely be back!! Thank yall so much for the best vacation ever!!
(Did I mention the clean restrooms and awesome hosts!!?)

Clean and and convenient location. Loved the sounds of the river all night long. A little too much highway noise during the day, but quiet at night.

Have spent the last 3 summers at this amazing and peaceful site… be sure to take that extra time to go down the trail to the swimming hole early in the morning to get a good spot.
