Beautiful spot. We were surprised to see the tree thinning in the campground. Still a great place. Much cooler than in the Valley of the sun.

The campground and site were great! I was a little surprised to see that they had thinned the trees in and around the grounds, but it will all fill in at some point. Having ice for sale at the entrance was a surprise too!

This is our favorite campground to visit during the Arizona summers. Being located in the White Mountains, it is a great getaway from the heat of the Arizona desert. The campground is always clean and well maintained, and the camp hosts are friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and caring. We look forward to seeing them from year to year. We have taken several family members and friends to this location and they all share our opinions.

The park itself is very clean, well-maintained, and the staff has always been polite and professional. I’ve been here many times — with friends, with family, with only my kids and wife, and even with the boys to go fishing. Most guests respect the park rules, which makes it an enjoyable place to stay.

The campground was clean and well managed. Camp hosts were very friendly and quick with information. They were also frequently out and about checking on the grounds. We did not have water, electric or sewer connections so we used the on-site shower facilities. They were fairly clean with hot water and good pressure. Our only concern was the slope of the floor and the splash from the shower allowed water to run out into the other are of the room. They did have a floor squeegee available to help push the water back toward the drain. As always, bring your flip-flops and you may also want to bring a grate to stand on. We had a very good experience, thank you.
