Its a great campground aside from the fact that over 500 trees have been removed due to disease. The only negative was a site across from us had 6 dogs that constantly barked every time someone walked by with another dog. I think there should be a cap on the amount of dogs allowed at one camp sight.

It was a great vacation. Wish I had a full hook up with my trailer but it all worked out. Next time.

We love going to Big Lake and Apache Trout is our favorite campground there. The Camp Hosts are always so friendly and helpful.

Couldn't get the reservation for the entire week, so we had to move. All the showers were not operational, due to the recent fires, I'm assuming. Overall, good experience at this campground.

Lots of tree-thinning and re-planting this year inside the campground. I missed the trees but support the need and the effort to manage them. Fishing was awesome. Enjoy a nice dinner or get supplies from Alpine, a short drive away. Keep a sharp eye out for Bighorn, Elk and Deer though. They are everywhere! I have a Cell Booster so my t-mobile service was not an issue.

I love this campground and area! The camp hosts are super friendly and very accommodating. We stayed in the Fir Group area, and it was really nice having the ramada with showers / bathrooms close by. I would definitely recommend this to any group and family/friend stay.

Due to a fire nearby our electricity was shut off & no water, and the weather was really windy so couldn't just sit outside and enjoy either. Left a day early. The campground is very lovely, camp hosts were awesome. And we always love fishing at Big Lake nearby.
