Great environment for the family. Host was helpful and bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Water spouts were not working throughout the grounds however they had a water truck that had good drinkable water. Campground was well kept.

Enjoyed our 4 day stay at Dogtown Resevoir campground . The sites are nicely separated and the vault toilets kept very clean. The campground information on recreation.gov indicates water is available - but paper signs were taped to all the spigots that ‘water was temporarily unavailable’. No issue for us but could be a problem if you got there and needed water. Loved watching the eagles fish. We took our jeep down several NForest service roads - ended up on the rim of the Sycamore canyon’s red rocks - what a marvelous view. The late June thunderstorms kept the afternoons cool and the dust down on the roads. Great place to explore, we’ll be back.
