Worst camp host every day to not keep things cleaned and maintained we had to go and buy bug spray to kill flies around the outhouse. And once we did that the bugs that died were you ever cleaned or swept up I never watch them rake any campsites and clean up after anyone left, I would not recommend this to my worst enemy

The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful.
As a single camper I really enjoyed my camping experience. And really enjoyed the fishing this lake. I didn’t catch a lot of fish in the early morning but eventually caught my limit of trout and I was totally mesmerized watching the osprey dive and catch small trout......
Keep an eye on your “catch” because the crawfish are very active. If you’re into crawfish, they are good sized and you can have an easy meal! Voracious little buggers.
It’s an easy ride to Williams for ice and supplies, plus a fun ride to White Horse Lake . There are a lot of Forrest roads to explore and dispersed camping is abundant.

The fishing was great and that is the only good thing we have to say about it. Bathrooms had so many flies that my daughter and I couldn't go. We knew that it was pit toilets, but something should be done about all those flies!! We couldn't have a campfire, even in the pit provided. We're from Arizona, we get that there's a fire hazard, but aren't the pits there to prevent that? We only stayed one night of the two that we reserved because of those last two reasons. Probably won't be back.

Dogtown campground never disappoints from clean camps to great fishing always our families favorite every summer. During covid was a bit different, requires you taking garbage daily to the dumpsters at the host site, we did not use vault bathrooms this time due to the virus we brought our own portable potty system
