A beautiful Campground! Beautiful lake and beautiful nature. Friendly hosts and everything very well maintained. Together with my wife and our 6 month old son we spent 4 wonderful days. Unfortunately, the way to get there is very difficult. More than 10 miles only dirt and gravel. It took more than 40 minutes to drive this route with our camper. Definitely worth it, we had a wonderful time!

Stayed at the camp grounds for two nights. Most of it is reserve online. They do have a few first come first serve spots. If you don’t reserve bring cash. I stayed in the A section. The camp site has one or two tables( two is more money) it has a grill and fire pit. They have a nice rock area for you to set up your tents in each one. They give you a good amount of space for an RV. They do have drinking water and they also have trash bins on site. The bathroom are okay better then most. There are a few bathroom is each section. The lake is an okay size they do have a large mouth bass but most of the lake is grassy. You will get a hook caught. They have a Snack shake that had ice and other things. The road there is long and all dirt, it’s about a 30 minute drive from the main road. You will see a few ranches and free roaming cows.

Not having a dump station seems to be an issue at the campground. Plus no way to water up your trailer for the price of the campsite. Also, no dump station meanings. There may be many people dumping illegally.

Setting is wonderful. Saw javelina, deer, osprey, Canadian geese and a multitude of orioles and songbirds. Fishing was poor, however. Bathrooms were decent. One ding: Neighbors can be a distraction when they don’t follow the rules, but that is normally a rarity.

Stayed at the group F campground. For a girls camp. It was so perfect for us. We had a very clean bathroom close by. Only one toilet. But it was cleaned and stocked daily. The lake is easy access and maintained very well. The girls paddle boarded. The drive in is bumpy but it’s not bad. If you use google maps it takes you on a not marked road, has grass. But if you use Apple Maps it takes you on a dirt marked road. I will be booking here again next year. It’s the best campground

Camp host was nice and helpful, clean restrooms and campsite. It’s a beautiful place. Not really shore fishing friendly, to much weed plants , I got hooked up often so I did rent a kayak and loved it. Fished good off that. Hiked to the overlook, it was awesome. I recommend this campground
