I enjoy White Horse because of the quiteness and the friendly people. The camp host for A loop did not do much cleaning as the restrooms needed attention most of the time.when I arrived all sites in A loop had signs stating not first come first served even though most were empty and no reservation signs on them. When the camp hosts free c,d,e loops were the cleaners in A loop restrooms were very clean and did not smell. The Black Bear consession was great and the operators very friendly, food was great, welcomed relief from my cooking. I will return next season looking forward to seeing the C loop and Black Bear, Bonnie and Jeff again they made the allowed time camping more enjoyable. A loop host seamed stand distracted almost like he did not to be there. Thanks for a great camping area.

Beautiful spot. Such a nice getaway from the heat of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, like most places these days, the campground is occasionally overwhelmed by loud and obnoxious Razors, side-by-sides, and dirt bikes with their equally loud and obnoxious, beer swigging, cigarette butt dropping, inconsiderate riders. While the camp hosts were amazing at trying to manage these ne’er-do-wells, they still come in droves and tear up the grounds, clog roadways, and endanger pedestrians and especially kids trying to move about the campground. The forest service has got to do something about these invaders and their unwelcome takeover of what was previously nature.

We saw so many wild animals here and had such a memorable experience. It was all made even better by the hosts, Dave and Linda. Fantastic couple that is so kind and helpful.

Stayed at A16 in September and we loved the campsite. We drove through loop b which was closer to the lake but the sites there seem closer together vs A loop. Not a long walk to the lake from A loop and neighboring sites are not too close. Yes the dirt rd in is long and parts washboard but we only had our truck so no issue. Site was very clean and the bathrooms were well kept and always had TP. Caught two sun fish, one in our kayak and one from shore. Lake is beautiful! We Food truck is convenient and they sell some essentials you may forget to bring including ice, and the host site sells firewood . Didn’t meet the hosts but they were driving around each day checking on everything. Really have no complaints and we will def be back!

We love White Horse Lake. Super clean and big lots away from each other. Gorgeous place to hike and camp. We did not utilize the lake or fishing since we got a lot of rain. The picnic bench, fire pit and built-in grill are super nice to have. You do need a generator since there are no hook ups here. It's true dry camping and very quiet. We do go to White Horse every year.

Had a great end-of-summer weekend with the family. Rented 2 neighboring campsites for RV and tents. Beautiful weather. Enjoyed shaved ice in the afternoons from the snack shack. Kayaked on the lake. Smores around the campfire. The only downsides were having to haul water from the host site since there was no water available in the regular places and having to take our trash up to the entrance as well. Hosts were so friendly and they did a fabulous job of keeping the bathrooms spotless! Only thing that would have made it any better was if we had caught some fish!
