This campground far exceeded my expectations. Clean and sites fairly spaced out. Fun little lake for fishing and the snack shacks was great too. We will definitely be back

Hidden gem in northern AZ. Well laid out, clean and nicely maintained campsites. Elbow room between sites is not as tight as others. Site selection can provide a bit more space if sites are picked wisely.

This is such a gem of a place to camp and enjoy. The camp hosts are very nice and keep the restrooms clean and go about the camp regularly to say hello or answer any questions that campers may have. We love the snack shop that is open to serve a nice variety of picnic food and drinks and even rent paddleboats or Kayaks if desired. The roads between the campsites are paved so there is no dust. The campsites are clean and relatively level with a picnic table and fire ring, a nice area for a tent. We enjoyed our first stay and are going back to enjoy it again!

We were fortunate to be close to the lake. We caught blue gill and a large mouth bass. A little boy caught a fairly large trout. We released ours because they were small, but so fun and beautiful. We witnessed an American Eagle swoop down and catch a fish, 4 times, which was such a treat. We took our mountain bikes and rode around. There are hiking trails. Warning, the road to get in was dirt and very bumpy. It took us 2 hours to enter and exit with our RV, the road was only 12 miles long. It was hard on the RV. But such a beautiful campsite and the hosts were extremely helpful and nice. No water, other then drinking and no electrical hook ups or dump station.

very nice and clean. pretty views. Did not like the long ruddy road to get there. Hard on trailer and car.

There is NO dump station available to use. It is closed. It should be open to campers. Also there is no fresh water, even though there are spigots available. The sign says temporary not available. I have been here for the last few years, and water was never available. On a positive note, the bathrooms are kept meticulously clean, and well stocked with toilet paper. Good job by the hosts!. The campgrounds are kept in good condition and we found no trash in our site. There is a Brown Bear diner open everyday but Wednesday. Good food at fair prices. They also rent kayaks.

We are AZ natives and Whitehorse Lake is our favorite campground. It’s stunningly beautiful! It offers tons of nice campsites & clean bathrooms, nature talks, kayak and paddle board rentals, and a great food truck as well.
