We had a good 2 weeks, except for weather. We experienced high winds, fire danger, and at the end of our stay threats of severe weather. Which we understand is to be expected in the spring. The camp spot where we like to camp is very dangerous because of the ground washed away from parking pad and is large drop down when stepping off the pavement. In fact I fell trying to remove a trash bag from our garbage can sitting outside the camper door. I was pulling the bag out and stepped back to pull the bag out and stepped down the drop off and fell backwards. Luckly I wasn't hurt except shook up and sore for a few days. There are a lot of sites that need work done because of dirt washed away or tree roots bucking pavement. Please look into improving the sites in the camp ground.

We loved Alpine Ridge! It was a busy campground, but we didn't feel like our neighbors were too close.
