You know I my wife and I along with our golden retrievers love site 44. Even though it’s one of the older sites and needs some real help with a tricky drop off from the asphalt and exposed tree roots. Would love to see it renovated as many of the other sites have been. Thank you for the consideration.

The park was beautiful and well kept. However we didn’t see the park host while we were there. And with it being our first time there, figuring out the layout of the campground was a challenge for older folks.

I could only stay one night, as I was just passing thru. This was a solo motorcycle trip, so I was tent camping. Was really impressed with the bathroom facilities; they were new, very clean and fully stocked - even with hand soap and paper towels. The park host was very accommodating - he even loaned me his folding camp chair.
The only negative was the chiggers/ redbugs. My legs were really eaten up!
Beautiful wooded area, quiet and peaceful.

Campsites are very close together. Not much privacy and people walking through your paid campsite all the time.
