Edgewood offers a beautiful, peaceful camping experience with great access to activities like Hot Springs and Caddo River. The campground is gorgeous, really enjoyed our stay once we moved to a new spot, unfortunately we had to lose $ in order to do it. No campsite host near by to talk to - tried calling and couldnt get a hold of anyone and it was just a pain bc even when I called Rec.gov, reception was so bad that after being on phone on hold and then getting to talk to someone the call dropped again. This site, #32, is a ridiculous site for a camper, best for tent camping as your out in the road with your camper and slide outs stick out, its on a hill and doesnt level out. Also be advised this campground is covered in poison ivy. We would totally go back here again, and just choose one of the other lovely sites, but never #32!

Fairly level spots, amazing view, full hookups, and quiet. We loved it!!

We recently camp at Edgewood Campground in Arkansas. This was one of the worst campsites we have ever been to. We were at site #6. We had our travel trailer and wanted full-hookups. The full hook ups were available but we could not get to them!! All the hookups were on the right side of the pull-thru instead of behind the trailer as is customary. As a result of this we were unable to hook any utilities as are electrical, sewer hose and water hose was not long enough. Fortunately we were planning only one night. Also, the table, grill and fire ring was down a hill. The bathhouse was across the road from our site, at dusk this huge dawn to dust light came on. This light filled our campground and so bright into our trailer. We will never camp at this campground again.

Beautiful campsite and a very pretty lake., I only stayed one night so I was glad it was an easy pull through site. The only issues I had was the electric and water were so far from the actual site and there were not a lot of places to turn around with a large camper.

I reserved the site several months in advance and was very particular about the location. The site was right next to the path to the swimming area which was not a problem since I wanted to be near the area for the kids. Had a little trouble backing in and had to go in the ditch a little but probably my inexperience. However, one nit to pick----the utilities were pretty far from the trailer pad. I have a pretty long electric cord but it was still not long enough to hook up to the box. Same with the water hose----took 50 feet to reach. If I had not had a pretty heavy extension cord, we would have been out of luck. Fortunately, it was cool and didn't need the a/c, I hope you can move the hookups closer to the pad. GREAT AREA!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been camping here almost every year for 30 years and it’s always a good time. Minimal traffic and very quiet.

Good campground. Beach access and places to park my boat without leaving the campsite make it a great area to camp
