What Guests Are Saying
Edgewood campground offers a beautiful setting with scenic views of the lake and thick forest, making it a peaceful retreat for campers. Many visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, including showers, and the helpfulness of staff, particularly during emergencies. However, there are concerns about restroom cleanliness, maintenance of some sites, and the need for better communication regarding site amenities and accessibility. Overall, many guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return, albeit to different sites.

My family and I love camping at Edgewood. We have visited here for 25 years. The only set back is the lack of maintenance. Grass not cut and the roads are getting very bad. It was impossible to miss huge potholes very hard on your RV and vehicles. The beach never has sand and it looks to be eroding away. It's a shame for such a beautiful place.

We had a very enjoyable time with family at Edgewood. But, the amenities there have gone down hill horribly. The roads are full of huge potholes. Your camper could be damaged by some of them. The bathrooms are not being maintained that well. There needs to be major improvements made throughout the whole area. When we were there in June of 2021 the park was full. This year there might have been 50% occupancy. We love the Edgewood area, but are probably going to look for another camping spot next time.

Not your typical COE campground.
Campground road is deteriorated and has some large potholes. Not very big rig friendly.
Bathrooms in need of upgrades.
Bring leveling blocks.
Host not very sociable.
Way to many nice COE campgrounds, to ever stay here again.

It is in a beautiful setting. Roads need maintenance. Pot holes are bad. Erosion creates hazardous foot traffic areas in sites. The beach has grass growing up where there is supposed to be sand. It at least needs to be mowed. I'm told all this is from budget cuts. But with the surge in camping we have seen over the past few years we should definitely be taking care of our campgrounds. But I was pleased to see that the campground was clean with no trash and the shower houses were clean and well stocked.

Edgewood has water and electricity. The pad we were on was concrete and level, not all of them are concrete.
