This is a great campground that has soaring pine trees and nice campsites. I’ve stayed at #1 all 3 times I’ve visited, and it has a nice tent pad. The bathrooms are well-taken care of, and the campground is very clean and quiet.

The sites were a little uneven and could use a little work, but overall not a bad location. The showers were ok, but because it was late in the year they were a bit neglected. John the camp host was pleasant and helpful. Not many campers in the area so it was quiet and peaceful. Overall I would camp here again.

We camp every November at iron mountain for 30 days. John is an amazing park host and an asset. Everything was blown off the pad and picked up beautifully. All we had to do is back in and set up. Best it’s ever been there.
