wish it could be open during winter season dec- feb ... not everyone gets to make reservations at state park they are always full .. THAT IS WHY WE CAMP AT CORP OF ENGINEERS CAMPGROUND

The restrooms were aged, but in good clean condition. The campsite was exactly as advertised, electric, no water or septic, but there was a water fill station and a dump station on the way in to the campground. The campsite had a fire pit and a grill both in good condition as well as a picnic table. Everyone was extremely friendly, and we had a great time.

The campsite was beautiful and well maintained. I also appreciate that there was good cell reception. My only complaint was that there was no one at the check-in area (I'm guessing due to covid?) and I was confused for a few minutes and just assumed that I was just supposed to go to my campsite. This isn't a problem, but I was not notified and I was a bit confused when no attendant was there to check people in.

General
- During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- Quiet hours are between;
- Daily occupancy is required.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- Fireworks prohibited in campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
