Nice quiet place. I like that I wasn't packed in like sardines with other campers. The sites had good distance between. I also felt safe seeing the park ranger cruise by periodically. Really nice place.

The biggest draw back, is most sites are very unlevel and uneven. This trip landed me in ER with sever sprang ankle with torn ligaments. So please be careful! But other than that this is a beautiful lake. Bathroom are good to be dated. They are functional. Great to have electric too.

Great location. Sites are a bit close and layout with tables fire pits and tent pads was odd on some but the showers and bathrooms were immaculate. Some tent pads do not drain water well at all. Overall it was pretty excellent. Will go back.

General
- During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- Quiet hours are between;
- Daily occupancy is required.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- Fireworks prohibited in campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
