The campsite were a little to close together in my opinion and the bathrooms were very dark and needed a good cleaning.

Stayed at spot 59, close to bathrooms that were tended to and stocked. There were views of the lake for most of the spots although you do have to hike downhill to the lake it does have walking trails to access from the spot we stayed in and would very definitely stay here again, the price of 16 per night is great a value and we would definitely stay here again

It was quiet and sites were spaced out nicely. We stayed one night and woke up to tranquility. Beware of bathroom tarantulas, they were giving some other campers a scare.

That was my first visit to iron Mountain and I loved the site and view. While I was there they were very few people and it was ultra peaceful and very clean. I left three days earlier than my paid reservation due to people letting their dogs run loose. The small Yorkie types were not a problem because I had a fighting chance to protect my small dogs, but when you have a pitbull chase you up a hill, across the road and behind a tree line while holding and trying to protect my two little dogs it became very uncomfortable for me to be there. I nor my dogs stood a chance with a dog of that size and strength. The woman made zero apologies and quite the opposite . The Rangers looked into this but as expected the woman lied and said her dog had not been off leash. Nothing to do with the park itself just some of the people that visit there.
