What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

I was quite disappointed in this campground considering the reviews. The highway noise is just not good, and a constant parade of vehicles going through the campground that were not campers. People parking on the grass everywhere, including directly across from my campsite blocking my view of the river. This is a small campground, which I normally don't mind, but way too much traffic. I will not be staying here again. It's too bad, could be a decent place if the parking was enforced. Shopping nearby is excellent.

We were in spot c10 and it was great. There was a large open field beside our spot. The campground is right on the water. We even got to watch a large boat go through the locks. There are 3 playgrounds which was nice. Plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes. We enjoyed it.

Two things that was concerning. The horns from the locks all night long. Not the park fault but made it hard to sleep. The most concerning I believe there was homeless that came in after workers hours and took showers and hang out.
