What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

Nice spot, but we tented near the river and were awakened in the middle of the night by a very loud ships horn blaring - not sure why that happened. Took a couple years off.

Nice view and quiet. Bathrooms were locked until around 11ish in the morning both days we were there so plan accordingly.

Quiet campground. Facilities acceptable. Super cool name was the reason we booked there. Story behind the name was entertaining! Would stay again.

This is our favorite park in the state. We frequent often. The park is well maintained and the bathrooms are kept clean. I'm not a fan of the shower heads but it is what it is. There's always hot water. Fishing is good off the banks, and there's local bait and groceries within a mile. Just a few more miles down the road there's a Walmart , Waffle House, Wendy's, zachzby, subway, and just about anything else you want.
