What Guests Are Saying

Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

We have stayed at Toad Suck many times over the last 20 years. It has always been beautiful but the addition of the restrooms was really wonderful. We have family in the area and it made for a great visit!

Need to think about full hook up. Will make park great for extended stay. Or let campers empty gray water on grass for irrigation

We liked our site at Ao4 along the river. I like the new power pedestals. So glad that Toad Suck is back after the terrible flood of 2019. We have stayed there 3 times and will do it again if traveling that way. The camp host was very nice & friendly.

This is a very well maintained camp ground with nice sites along the Arkansas River. You can see one of the lock & dams on the river and watch barge traffic go through the lock & dam. The camp host was extremely helpful in helping me get water for my RV because my hose wasn't long enough to reach the hydrant in my site. He went out of his way to help me. We will be going back to this camp ground.

Very well maintained park. Peaceful and quiet. Not crowded at all when we went on a June weekend. Convenience store across the highway from campground and a Walmart 3.5 miles East on US 60. Glad we stayed there.

Awesome! Clean, quiet park with water and electric. Bathhouses are clean and well maintained. Wonderful views of the Arkansas River. Rangers patrol frequently. Recommend without hesitation. However, when approaching the first dip leading into the 'A' loop, be very careful! It's deeper than it looks resulting in your rig being tossed from side to side!
