What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

We camped for 4 night and 5 days. I loved that it was quiet, the sites were so nice and a good view of the river. We will be back!!!!

When we arrived there was trash, dog poop, and dog food on the ground all over our campsite. We had to clean much of it up ourselves as when we came in around 4pm there were no rangers or people at the booth to help or report the mess too. The camp host was not properly marked too. We came to find out the renters next door who seemed to be living out of a tent instead of just vacationing had 3 dogs and we're at our site previously and left the mess! They also let their dogs roam around off the leash. It was a very bad experience because of this. I did let a ranger know the next day, but nothing was done prior to our leaving and the people were still there when we left.

This park has made a shining recovery from the flood damage of several years ago. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful and the bathrooms are unbelievably clean!!

Very quiet RV park, hosts are friendly and helpful with any problems - if they can't help, they can direct you to someone who can.

Have been “camping” at Toad Suck for many years but just discovered it had reopened. Always had great experiences there and enjoyed talking with your fantastic employees.
