The park was not crowded and most generally everything was quiet.
The lake level was down a little bit but the fishing was still pretty good.
We really enjoyed the more mature and quiet atmosphere of the overall experience.

Great campsite. The bathrooms could’ve been a little bit cleaner, but it wasn’t that bad. Really enjoyed the campsite because it was clean, shady, and had all of what we needed. The playground was perfect for my smaller children. Highly recommend.

We had a great time , our site was great for tent camping. Flat with close proximity to restrooms and park for the kids to play . They loved it and we did too. We will be back !

Choctaw is very clean and easy to get around. The sites are large and nice set up.

Had a wonderful time and didn't want to go home.the bathroom was clean had plenty of toilet paper no overflow of trash can.the camp site was of good size and clean and right across from the rest room.the whole park is great we even got to see a deer while we were headed to the beach.

The bathroom in C was disgusting. Toilet paper holders were broken and it smelled bad.

Camp site B-14 at Choctaw Recreation Area is not a safe site. There is an eight inch drop off from the pavement to the ground. If you park a camper on the pavement, you only have about three feet from your camper door to the drop off. I have reported this problem so maybe it will get repaired before someone gets hurt.
