What Guests Are Saying
Choctaw offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the spacious campsites and scenic views, particularly in D-Section, and highlight the attentive service from staff like Ms. Jeannie. The restrooms were locked so we have to leave back early instead of enjoying the camping. This is the first time I have experienced anything like in my whole life. It was not at all expected, this has impacted the intentions of relaxing camping and thought of enjoying the nature. I would prefer to have my money refunded for this trip.

Beautiful area but the bathroom s were definitely lacking during our stay. Someone was smoking in the bathroom and they definitely didn’t clean them properly. We ran out of toilet paper in just a few hours. This place is sooooo magical but we had several issues during our stay. Not as good as other areas around the lake.

The campground is beautiful but the bathrooms need a lot of attention. We stayed 14 days and sometime would stop by about three times a week but only once was the floor ever rinsed and only because there was human feces in the shower. We reported the bathroom issue to the host and a ranger. We even talked to the cleaner twice but nothing improved. There wasn't a host starting on property when we were there. I won't stay here again until I hear that the bathrooms are being cleaned.
