These sites were spacious and the setting was peaceful with views of the lake. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly. This is a great place to go and relax with the family.

Bathrooms were not maintained. Also, there was no toilet paper which made it hard to use the restroom. Over all a great trip just displeased with bathrooms.

Absolutely beautiful! We drove up without a reservation and were able to get a lakefront site after asking what was available at the entrance gate! We would definitely come back again!!!

We stay at Choctaw 3-4 times a year.
We were in the D section which is better suited to large modern campers. Longer sites with 50amp service. I was pleased to see several upgrades to some of the sites.
The only complaint I have is that apparently someone had used a leaf blower and piled leaves right up against our site. It was a serious fire hazard. Especially since the county was on a red flag/no burn alert. I get it that this may be the result of cost reductions. Perhaps organizing volunteers may help. I have a backpack blower and a medium sized tractor.
