I loved the Family Atmosphere at this Camp. The Attendants were very Helpful! The Main Problem were Gnats!!! I got eat up by them. The Bathrooms were neat and Clean and Great Hot Showers! Had a Great Time other than the Gnats! Thank You

We stayed on one of the sites next to the river. The view was awesome and the concrete pad was nice & level. We had our own pavilion and charcoal grill. There is a lot of traffic from what I assumed were fishermen throughout the day & night so there is traffic noise. There is no gate and there was no attendant at the building entrance for the time we were there. You have to drive past a cement loading area on the river with many trucks driving through. We had a tug & barge tie up almost in front of us on the river at 3 AM which made a little noise & their lights shined into our RV during anchoring. Other than that, it was a decent stay though the traffic would probably keep us from staying here again.

We only stop for overnight but was pleasant and quiet. A lot boats going to ramp but otherwise ok. Will come back to stay longer when traveling thru again.

The park attendants were hands down the nicest people I've ever met.
The bathhouses were kept clean although there were broken water fixtures and the doors were not able to be locked. Not major, but definitely an inconvenience.
The picnic table wasn't concrete which was so much nicer than the concrete ones and having it covered is a must for our family, so that was nice.
However, the campsites were overgrown with tall grass and weeds and so full of armadillo holes that it was nearly impossible for several of our guests to walk across the grassy areas without stumbling. The kids basically had to play in the road the entire time.
I would really like to see something done about the grounds.
Our site had 3 vehicles max allowed, but there wasn't enough space to park all three cars so we had to play musical cars constantly and it was extremely annoying. They either need wider pads or gaveled areas to the sides of the pads to park additional cars. I do not like parking in the grass incase it rains and gets muddy. I was also threatened with ticket for parking in the grass so apparently they don't want you doing it either, but I wasn't sure what else to do.
It's not a bad place to stay, there are just other parks nearby that I will be choosing over this one in the future.
