We stayed in site C3 and is close to the Arkansas River. Good for an overnight stay or longer if your on a fishing trip. Power & water (very low pressure).

I had a good encampment aside the rainy weather. Electric and water were all properly placed and worked. The shower facility seemed clean and orderly although I didn’t use them. The ground was neat. Hunters and fishermen mostly there is a good opportunity for walking and a short cycle ride. However there is very limited mobile phone, radio or television service available.

Only thing that would have made this the best trip, would be having an internet signal. Once you drop off the levee and go a little ways you lose all service. No way to get help if needed. The Government should really look into getting a tower placed in that area ASAP!

General
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Only wood and paper products may be placed in the fire rings. All trash must be placed in dumpsters and trash cans.
- Limited cellular phone service in the Campground and Park areas.
- No more than 2 tents per campsite, or 1 camper and 1 tent.
- CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water. Dispose of unwanted bait, worms, fish parts, or other organisms into the trash and not into the environment. For more information visit https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/rec.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site.
