the camp host went out of his way to help us change campsites to one more to our liking on the water with a great view. He was actually at the plantation site and checked in campers at both Wilbur D Mills and Plantation. He also gave us info about The Arkansas Post Museum, which was a very interesting side trip for us, very informative, Lots of nice hiking trails. He also told us about eating spots nearby.

Camping spots are very well maintained. Cell service is spotty with Verizon. AT&T works pretty well.

Loved it . Ppl where really nice . Sites were very clean easy to back up in . No good views of the water but still nice trees . All the water here is so beautiful. U like fishing this is definitely the spot . No phone service at the campsite you have to go up by the open water to get a little service . Make sure you at least have a 1/2 tank of gas . U got about 15 miles to dumas to the nearest gas station n food . Pet friendly. The site are very spaced out so I barely had my pup on leash which I love cause I have one pup that like doing zooms . Site are very shaded Also . I kept my ac at 70-75 n my rv stayed cool at night I think I should’ve bought a heater .

The people that were camped in spot 10 across from us were burning motor oil or some kind of chemical out of jugs that stunk to high heaven, and I'm sure not good for the environment. It was definitely not firewood. Some kind of liquid. It worries me about camp cooking on firepits in the future.
