We enjoyed our stay on site 7. There is a little path down to the water and only a few campsites on that side of the campground. We were not very close to the bathroom (vault toilets). We chose to drive out to the island with the flushable toilets and showers as needed. The internet service was okay, a bit spotty, due to all the trees. I could drive over to the little island and have 4 bars of Verizon service. I teach online, so the cell service is of great importance to me when booking a site. This site is definitely for small campers and a bit hard to get into. But, we loved our stay and the water there was really clear and nice to swim in. The view was wonderful.

We had a great time at the lake. It is beautiful, clear and cool water. We had a fantastic view and were very close to the water. There were some issues with the campground I wish we had been aware of before our arrival.
1. Be sure on the name and location of the campground before you arrive. There are a couple of different campgrounds in the "Dam Site Park". So, make sure you are going to the correct one.
2. We were at "Dam Site Lake Campground", site 6. Luckily we have a very small 17 foot trailer. There is no way you could park a larger trailer at this site. Not to mention where to park your car. I have not encountered sites this small before.
3. There is no water hook up at these sites and the bathroom for these sites is a glorified porta-potty with no shower. There is a shower on the island, but you have to drive out there.
Overall great trip.
