The campground is very well maintained — not one campsite was “obnoxiously” loud rude—dogs are allowed and while almost every camper seemed to have their dogs, their pets remained leashed and were cleaned up after…I was so surprised by that (very well behaved and friendly dogs and owners!)… we will definitely return —the easy and direct access to the water from almost every campsites was like having your own private lake! We loved it!

Our campground hosts…David, Tammy and Fred are great! They are very courteous, professional and friendly. Just wish other campers would pick up after themselves (it would make their jobs so much easier)

Dam Site Lake side is our favorite place to stay. You are right out on the water with 360 degree view. The facilities and the campsites are clean. Park hosts are friendly and helpful. You are less then 10 miles from Eureka Springs which has all kinds of activities to check out and great restaurants to eat at. I recommend spending a few nights at the park. Its well worth the price.

Camp site 25 is by far the very best camp spot I have ever been too. Right on the water next to the swimming area If you want kiddos in that protected area. showers and bathrooms super close. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. This campsite has a huge grassy area for multiple tents and plenty of shade coverage. The picnic table is covered with a above shelving for storage. The only thing that bothered me and this is something I would never complain about but the water in the showers get way too hot so hot it was hard to shower and no way to turn it down . Need to be able to adjust water temp especially for lil ones and people with sun burns lol. I will be booking this spot in the future.

We really enjoyed our site. Only one wish - the "moat monster" toilet on the non-island side was a modern build with showers so you don't have to drive to the island.
