The reservation directions were totally wrong. We could find no one to give us proper directions to our camping loop. We finally found it after we had set up in the wrong loop and had to move again. Very poor experience compared to other Corps parks!!!

Weather was bad, so not a good trip. Normally we enjoy our trips to the lake. It is peaceful and just nice to be there

USCOE parks are usually good. This one is scenic and folks are friendly. Downside: More dumpsters are needed in each section of the campground (presently only in the first section). Also, it can be challenging to back in larger RV's in the 2nd and 3rd section. Narrow roads and mature trees. Also, lots of weekend traffic. But overall, a nice place!

This past Tuesday April 27, 2021. We had a major storm come through. Dropped 8 inches of rain by 11 AM. Not one park official come around to check on any of us Campus. When I tried to call the number up at the booth nobody answered. I needed help getting my electric unplugged so I could get out of there. Because I was left stranded from a boyfriend who left me at 1 AM in the morning and I needed help to get out of there my by myself. The only way we got in contact with anybody was my girlfriend called from her home to another location for somebody to get some help up at the booth and get somebody down to me. When you have a storm coming in that's bringing in that much water and you don't come check on your campers those people should be fired. Where was your care for your fellow campers?
