As we were backing into our site 7 we had a tire blow out on our 31 ft trailer, something we never experienced before and other than the spare we were unprepared to change it. Some camping neighbors were very nice and came to our aid with a jack and proper tools. We are very grateful to them, they saved our vacation. The site was clean and beautiful. We love fishing and kayaking the river, which are readily accessible. On a rainy day we went to Eureka Springs to explore the haunted hotel [Crescent Hotel] and enjoyed gourmet pizza at the Sky Bar. We've made going to Dam Site River an annual event and always look forward to going there.
