We love going to Bidwell Point.
The park host is informative, courteous, helpful, and available. We have been making this a Father’s Day family tradition for several years.
The beach, swimming area, restrooms, and camp sites are well maintained.
The Park Rangers, and Sheriff’s Deputies, make rounds regularly. If there was ever a problem it would be handled quickly.
A real vacation spot to relax and enjoy yourself.

Site 11 had an excellent view. Despite the website advertising this as a shady spot, this site had limited shade. The pictures shows trees that are no longer there. The site has a pavillion giving some shade which was tight to extend a slideout or awning but we managed. We have T-moblile for cell service and had excellent signal. It is close to town with lots to do.

We stayed in site #8, very spacious, mostly shaded, overlooking the lake, easy to back into, mostly level, had plenty of extra parking space for our 60' total TT and tow vehicle length. The designated lake swimming area was clean and large. Nights were quiet except for a few boats going by late at night and early morning. We really enjoyed our stay. The site has water and 30/20 amp, 120 volt electric available, both utilities worked well. The camp host Brian was very friendly and helpful. We had good Verizon cell service.

Great stay. One of the most beautiful and peaceful lakes. Mt. Home is a short drive away and has most everything you would need.
