Beautiful campground & lake! Clear water. We had site #9 and there was a trail behind it that led to a cliff where people jump into the lake, so people were frequently walking behind our site (which our dogs didn't like). Our site was pretty trashed when we arrived & I told the camp host but he said it wasn't his responsibility. I understand that but it was frustrating to arrive & have to clean up pieces of trash all around & over a 100 cigarette butts.

The host Brian was great. The sites were very nice and private unless you got right on the water but those were nice too. Showers were great and the bathrooms clean. Beautiful lake. We will be back!

Brian (Camp Hose) was FANTASTIC. He helped us with a sticky situation at Panther Bay & recommended we consider Bidwell Point instead. So glad we made that change. Site was great. Very level. Lots of squirrels for the puppies to chase. Beautiful view of the lake. Thanks again Brian

Other campers picnicking on our site when we arrived. Left their trash and poured leftover food in the drain for our water connection. Weeds were high at the site. Gravel needs to be replaced on the site. Electricity went out twice while we were there. We come here every year. This was the worst condition we’ve experienced.

I didnt know you had to book online and I felt the website should be posted alone on a window or sign.
But the camp host is great and the campground is the best on Lake Norfork.
