We love camping at Bidwell Point. The park is clean and patrolled regularly by rangers, sheriffs department and the park attendant. The park attendant, Brian, is always helpful and is there day or night when you need him.

The park attendance is great at his job and takes good care of the park and the visitors that come there. The only bad experience was the rest rooms. Most of the times the men’s were out of toilet paper and very messy. But that’s not the park attendance faults. We always look forward to visiting this park. Especially when we drive 485 miles to get there

Brian was VERY helpful and great communication, as soon as he had a cancellation he notified us and we got to book immediately. Camp was clean and ready for setup with great views.

The "running water" toilet and shower house is in need of updating. Paint peeling, tiles cracked in shower area. We camped along the road to the swim beach in campsite #10 - big mistake! The traffic on that road was BUSY and little regard for the posted speed limit. Even after dark, there was frequent vehicles traveling out to the "point". This made our campsite #10 uncomfortable.

Another trip to Bidwell and another wonderful time. Fishing was slow. Camp host Brian was so helpful and kind as usual. Site was nice and clean.

We love this campground and stop here everytime we are in Mountain Home, AR. The sites are decent size and most have picnic tables with shelter and fire pits. The campground is only 15 minutes away from town where there are lots of restaurants and shopping. Bidwell offers a boat ramp with easy access, great views, nice shower houses, playground and a swim area for kids.
