Brian reached out before I arrived to tell me my site was ready and also taught me how to use the seniors pass discount that I thought was only for NPs. 😃
The campground was clean from the site, bathroom, shower house, and the swim beach. Other campers were very friendly and as we were there during the week, it was mostly retired people enjoying the life! Water and electric were convenient. Site 41 has a beautiful view, but probably not well suited if you have young children (limited space to explore safely- some of the other sites offer more kid-friendly areas. I hated to leave and missed not having a boat for the water. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful campground, we were within walking distance to the beach. Each morning we had wonderful sunrises that could be seen across the lake.

Our reservation was for site 6 but ended up at 14, right on the lake, thanks to camp hosts Brian and his wife. I inquired about any last minute openings and he allowed us to transfer to a much better site! 14 has no shade but it’s also at the shore line. Each site has electricity and water, which was great. We did see the local Sheriff and a Ranger swing through the park at least twice. Brian was also out and about, making sure everyone was doing okay and answering questions. Overall, we will definitely be back.
