We love this campground and stop here everytime we are in Mountain Home, AR. The sites are decent size and most have picnic tables with shelter and fire pits. The campground is only 15 minutes away from town where there are lots of restaurants and shopping. Bidwell offers a boat ramp with easy access, great views, nice shower houses, playground and a swim area for kids.

We were in campsite #2 From 1-Apr-24 to 10-Apr-24 (Solar Eclipse 8-Apr-24). Beautiful campground. Site #2 was fairly flat, plenty of space between sites to private yet neighborly. T-Mobile Wi-Fi was 3 of 5 bars. Sites 1 through 6 had trees but not enough to have blocked Star-Link. The host(s) (Brian and Diane) were fantastic. They made rounds everyday. If we were outside they made it a point to say hi and check on how we were doing. the only thing that would keep this campsite from being a 5 is; the shower facilities are a little run down. They're very clean but the concrete and paint are peeling/chipping. The toilet stalls are very small and limited to no ventilation. If someone takes a shower it becomes very hard to see or breath, the air inside becomes stagnate and thick.

A beautiful campground on an ideal lake well maintained by the Corps.
The Campground Host is friendly and always extremely helpful. The Host has been there several years, so he is another positive to camping there.

We visited in early April overnight. Nicely spaced sites. We had a lovely, high view of the lake. Enjoyed the birds and flowers.
