What Guests Are Saying
Lost Bridge South is a well-loved campground with spacious sites offering stunning views of Beaver Lake, making it a favorite for many families. The facilities, including clean shower/toilet rooms and friendly staff, contribute to a pleasant camping experience, despite some concerns over the need for deeper cleaning and updates. Some sites present challenges for larger RVs due to steep drop-offs and tight access, but overall, visitors appreciate the natural beauty and amenities of the area.

Great camping spot. We had 40' 5th wheel and was easy to back in. Lakefront. Electric only. No water or sewer hookups. About 10-15 minutes to nearest quick stop which serves food, has gas, ice, and other essentials - home of the largest ice cream cone. From there, about 30 minutes to the nearest town of any size. About 30 minute drive to Pea Ridge Military Park. Short drive to Eureka Springs - tourist town with Victorian vibe.

Bathrooms were not clean and parking was not monitored. Someone parked their truck and trailer in our tent spot. Getting it moved was an ordeal. Trash was overflowing in dumpster and no maintenance or repairs were made to the swim area from spring flooding.

Check in was confusing. Sign at gatehouse said to go to LB north for check in. No one there either. Then we were told Monday was a day off. So maybe that should be posted somewhere? However, we had trouble with our pedestal and we got lots of good help with that from the park attendant of LB south and a ranger who came all the way from Rogers! That was very nice. When we left LB south, we went to the dump station and then we wanted to check out the campsites at LB north. The ranger there was very gruff, not friendly. Guess we won’t ever camp there!

No one seems to heed the posted speed limit signs and there was only one trash dumpster for the whole camp ground. Not even trash cans in the bathrooms that's a bit ridiculous

We were 1 of 6 campers in our group. I thought the park was very well kept. The Bathrooms were cleaned frequently and the playground was in good condition. We enjoyed visiting with the volunteers; thank you for going the extra mile.
Some of the sites are challenging to navigate and I pity the poor soul that struggles with backing trailers. lol.
Overall, I look forward to visiting again soon.

The restrooms were not kept up. They were without toilet paper for 2 days. There was no one in the booth the whole week we spent there. The grass needed mowing. The attendants from Lost Bridge North were rude, they seemed to be trying to take care of both parks.

Always make "good" fun where we go, but "disappointed and sad" this trip. Have been coming to Beaver for 15+ years. The lack of oversight and attendants at Lost Bridge South causing issues. Arrived to people camping on our site because no tickets on posts and they did not see “rules” sign posted on hill rather than at attendant booth. People unnecessarily getting tickets for not have yellow tags; again, people looking for attendant. Man with trailer parked in attendant’s spot had unleased large dog which jumped small dog (on leash) and it's owner. Same guy “cleaned” bathrooms with garden hose wetting what little toilet paper was present – never saw him scrub. Did see Corp female clean once on two days. Wall trash can missing; people were leaving trash and feminine pads in bathroom floor. Really??? if too cheap to pay attendants, at least pay someone who will clean or use volunteers who have offered to help. Attempted to contact park phone many times before we knew attendant booth closed (please put a message on there); tried Corp office many times - finally got a person on day before planned arrival to find out of the sites closed due to high water. He transferred to another person who he said would call us back , Left message for this person – never received a call. Are you trying to run people off?

The water hookup smelled so so so bad! (Sulphur water??) It stunk up our entire camper the entire trip & smelled like rotten eggs🤢. It was awful!!! We have been home a week now and flushed our camper lines over 4 times with a full tank of water ($$$$) every time(started with bleach water) & we still smell it in our faucets! We know it wasn't a prob with our camper b/c we walked around both camp grounds and smelled water from vacant faucets and they all smelled of sulphur water. Plus the public bthrooms did too. A little heads up would have been nice so the water didn't stink up our water lines forever! We would have never hooked up to the water faucet there had we known. Terrible experience. Won't be returning. This was my 1st review ever for camping and our 1st bad experience & we are not picky people.
We called for 2 wks to ask questions & no one answered. Please list a # that people can get answers.
Bathrooms/Showers were old and gross.

The lake and area is beautiful!!!!! The campground is nice however it is overcrowded with people dumping in their boat from the at all hours. Many campsites were completely under water due to spring rains. The bathrooms are ok, no hot water at all and no pressure but this is camping. All the fellow campers were great, only qualms are about keeping the small campground quiet and beautiful as it should be.
