The camp was well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Trash was removed daily. There is not a swim beach available, but still places to swim along the bank. The only problem encountered was the ants and they are present at most camp sites.

Pros: Park hosts were great! Came around frequently and were very friendly. Quickly helped with a camper having issues connecting to water. Beautiful lake view of course. Park Ranger brought the kids goodie bags….they loved them and learned a lot from the information. BBQ grill was brand new. Sites were very clean even though they had recently been underwater. Very little debris.
Cons: The steps up and down from the campsite to the table were difficult. One step was partially broken and the last step was much taller than the others. Several nearly fell not expecting it to be so different.
Overall it was a wonderful experience as always at DeQueen Lake!

1st time there. Will definitely be back. Best sunrises ever. Beautiful lake. Perfect site. Phone service allowed Roku at night and any phone calls to come in. Lots to do in driving range. One of two COE that are favorite.

We stayed in site 10. Most of the sites are terraced with a great view of the lake. The site was level and the trees did not impede a 42 ft rig setup. We were right on the lake. The hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. There were nightly checks on the property by the host. The power was good. A 30 amp plug on our pod was damaged and the host said that he would get the electrician to change out. Sunrises and sunsets were great. Cell service was 3 bars (TMobile). The roads while steep, were no problem for a big rig. The only issue was the dump station. There is not enough clearance to access the semicircle drive and dump. I had to drive in and back out. Next time I will probably dump from the road or go to a nearby COE park (Oakgrove or Pine Ridge)
There is fishing, kayaking and boating on this lake.
The Bella Mine road which accesses the park is paved all the way. We were going on to Oklahoma. The Bella Mine Rd turn to dirt before you reach the OK border area. We elected to exit via Dequeen with no issue. The whole area is big rig friendly, just take your time.

Nice campground hosts. Site 4 was a bit out of the shade but an excellent campground overall. Would recommend
