The camp host was very nice and helped us get right to our spot. She even offered less expensive alternatives but we kept what we were originally assigned. Park is beautiful. Had a great e-bike ride around the campground and went over to beach area. Such wonderful views of the lake from all of the sites!

Coming from the west (Broken Bow) Google Maps took our motorhome 4 miles up an unpaved logging road instead of taking us the long way round through DeQueen. Bit of a bone shaker, so not recommended.

Had a great experience here for the eclipse weekend. Restrooms and showers were VERY clean and serviced daily. Small quiet park with friendly and helpful hosts. Plenty of firewood on site if you're the gathering type. View of the lake was great from every site. They have local sheriff patrols. While I didn't use it, there is a boat launch. Very dark at night for the star viewing. Great place to sit and relax with a book and get away from everyday life. The only negative I have is at some sites the water hookup is a little far. We needed about 75 feet of hose to hook up.

Site #6 was beautiful. It was lakeside and we liked the way it was designed.

Would have been 5 stars if there was more signage to find the place

Clean campsites that had designated patios and fire pits. Beautiful grounds. I really enjoyed my visit.

The only minor issue we had was the grill was broken at our campsite. It is a very peaceful campground.
