What Guests Are Saying
John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

What a beautiful campground!! The D-Loop is the place to be! Close to bathrooms/showers with a large field in the middle of the loop, lots of kids bike riding and playing soccer in the field. Trout fishing was and excellent experience, we could 10 while we were there for the weekend. Stairs down to the water and several gorgeous decking area and look out points. All around a wonderful stay!

Enjoyed the campsite as always. River was down quite a bit so able to do a lot of fishing. Only complaint is all the barking dogs. I wish there was a designated area for campers with or without dogs, all the barking when people go by gets very annoying. Other than that are stay was awesome.

I would watch your receipts. They do double charge sometimes or the mistakes happen on their online platform maybe due to poor signal. But I love this campground.

At least the finally got water to the D loop sites. It's nice and it was cold so did not do much. We had fun no matter it rained.
