We camp every year for a week at the end of September. The park attendants are always great to see every year and are super friendly. Having access to the lake is great! We always have our dogs with us and they love going for walks and seeing deer or other wildlife.

Plenty of space for the kids. Fairly quiet, when one person walks a dog they all wake up. Most were leashed some were not. A great time overall.

We enjoyed our time at Hickory Creek . 4 star rating due to not having full hookup available (i.e. sewage and water)

We were at campsite 34, LOVED IT! Luckily we checked in on a Wednesday and left Friday, we had no one around us for those two days. We had our area that holds 4 RV's / tent sites and the one below us, that holds 7 RV's/tents empty, talk about lucky!! Site 34 when walking around the entire park, public boat dock side and marina side, you could not see our RV from any angle. Sunrises by the lake were beautiful; be careful when walking around the place there are blind spots for drivers. Showers/ restrooms were clean and nice. Make sure to take your own hand soap, they don't provide it in the bathrooms. We also had the swimming area to ourselves! Everyone we encountered were friendly and always said hi.
