Enjoyed our stay and the park was clean. We stayed in site B3 which had lots of shade. The park was safe. The Corp of Engineers needs to spend some money to update the campgrounds.

Beautiful place to spend the night. Very peaceful and I had a great campsite overlooking the Arkansas River. I was originally planning on staying in Little Rock but decided to drive further north. I saw this place on the Recreation.gov app so decided to try it. I was grateful to the ranger who saw me pulled over beside a church while I was double checking my directions and asked me where I was going. When I told him he said follow me and led me directly to the campground. Jack, the campground host, was very nice and helpful. It so nice to have someone on site. I would love to stay a second night but I had already made reservations at Petit Jean for two nights.
