What Guests Are Saying
Cranfield Park offers beautiful views, a peaceful atmosphere, and well-maintained campgrounds, making it a favorite spot for many campers. The friendly and helpful hosts enhance the experience, while the clean facilities contribute to a pleasant stay. However, some reviews mention that the bathrooms could use updates and that campsite sizes may be a bit cramped.

The power in the park needs to be upgraded. In peak heat, it throws breakers. Most new campers are now 50 amp instead of the 30 amp service

Shady spot with direct view of the lake, convenient to carry our kayak to the lake. Covered picnic table away nice. Only about 3 mikes from Mountain Home with restaurants and Walmart.

It's a little tough to modify your reservation, was an hour plus hold time

Great campground but a terrible host. He’s ruining the camping there with his “silly” ways of doing things. Time for him to go do something else where he doesn’t have to deal with people.

We LOVE this campground! The only reason we do not book it often is due to when the lake is flooded/high it will close/cancel all reservations due to the causeway being underwater. We will reserve every time IF we know the lake will not be high. The only negative thing I can say is some of the campsites could use some repair from the flooding, no trash cans close to the swim beach so people just leave their trash laying around, and all the trees/debris by the water is not removed/cleaned up.

Our first camping trip of the year!! Weather was nice. My disappointment was that the grounds were in very poor condition. The grass had NOT been mowed in weeks. It was a foot tall behind our camper which faced the water & we have a toy poodle that had to wade through that overgrown grass to potty!!! The bathrooms were mediocre with very low supply of hand- soap & toilet paper 🧻. The bathrooms closest to the swimming area only had 1 stall open, the other door stayed locked the entire time we were there. The camping rates have INCREASED quite significantly per night but it seems as though the upkeep of the grounds has definitely DECREASED !!

Mow the grass! Every time we stay here the grass needs to be cut!

Very nice campsites along a beautiful lake. We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty for the kids to do, riding bikes, swimming, playground, & fishing. Close to Mountain Home for a Walmart run for supplies. Gas stations within 2 miles.
