What Guests Are Saying
Cranfield Park offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with stunning lake views, well-maintained sites, and friendly camp hosts. Many reviewers praised the cleanliness of the park and the convenience of its location near town. However, there are some concerns regarding the condition of the bathrooms, which are noted as needing updates, and a few campsites were reported to be smaller than ideal.

We LOVE this campground! The only reason we do not book it often is due to when the lake is flooded/high it will close/cancel all reservations due to the causeway being underwater. We will reserve every time IF we know the lake will not be high. The only negative thing I can say is some of the campsites could use some repair from the flooding, no trash cans close to the swim beach so people just leave their trash laying around, and all the trees/debris by the water is not removed/cleaned up.

Our first camping trip of the year!! Weather was nice. My disappointment was that the grounds were in very poor condition. The grass had NOT been mowed in weeks. It was a foot tall behind our camper which faced the water & we have a toy poodle that had to wade through that overgrown grass to potty!!! The bathrooms were mediocre with very low supply of hand- soap & toilet paper 🧻. The bathrooms closest to the swimming area only had 1 stall open, the other door stayed locked the entire time we were there. The camping rates have INCREASED quite significantly per night but it seems as though the upkeep of the grounds has definitely DECREASED !!

Mow the grass! Every time we stay here the grass needs to be cut!

Very nice campsites along a beautiful lake. We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty for the kids to do, riding bikes, swimming, playground, & fishing. Close to Mountain Home for a Walmart run for supplies. Gas stations within 2 miles.

It's always great here, the staff is very nice and helpful, this is my favorite place to camp, just wish the grass/weeds could be mowed more often.
