Pretty decent. Hot in the summer with limited shade. No easy access to river for sitting or skipping stones. Probably good for fishing.

This was our 4th trip to this campground! We come down from Missouri to trout fish and just enjoy the river. Only complaint is that this is the second time we couldnβt fish for 2 days of our trip because they were letting a lot of water out of the dam. We totally understand why, but it would just be nice if perhaps it could be posted in the office what day or days this would happen. If we had known in advance we could have adjusted our plans, but having it just happen out of the blue messed up our whole week. Granted the higher water allowed some beautiful pictures and did make the fishing better once the dam shut off. We love this campground and the river! Reminder to campers with pets, please pick up after your dogs, the campsite next to us really smelled and you definitely didnβt want to walk thru the grassπ©

The Quarry is the go-to place for me. All of the sites are wonderful, especially the sites with a water view. The campground is always spotless and well groomed. Making reservations is easy on the website. However, I think it would be beneficial to have an updated photo of each site on the website when looking for available campsites.

This is a really nice park. So very quiet. I have already booked to return. This has been our favorite park to go to so far. Parks attendant's were so very kind and helpful. Cell service is very limited in the park at best.
