This spot is wonderful. We stayed in July so it was very warm but, it's nice and shaded in the afternoon. The breeze coming off the river was nice. We stayed in a large tent and there's plenty of room for setup. All the staff at the park is very friendly. I really appreciate the park rangers making rounds, keeping an eye on things. Also, the bathroom and showers are just a short walk up the hill. And there's a play area just behind the site as well for smaller kids. We swam in the lake while we were there. Norfork lake is always nice and clear. Our family can't wait to go back.

The park is always great but this year the park attendant Doug was awesome. He did an excellent job helping and handling things. We’re going back as of now at least 2 more times this year. Thanks Doug!
