What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

This camping at Dam Quarry Park was the first time I have seen the overflow. It look like snow coming down the dam. The fish hatchery is a must see there. It is just across the road from the park. The town of Norfork is just a few miles from the park. There's history there. Mountain Home is less than 10 miles from the park. Places to eat and shop.

We love camping here. The camp hosts are very helpful and take care of problems as soon as possible. All of the sights are nice and well maintained. We try and camp once in the spring and again in the fall so my husband can fish. Whispering Woods Grill is a great place to eat, especially if you can sit outside and take in the view. Heidis Ugly Cakes is great too. Visit the fishery while you are camping and hit the Y in Salesville for a milk shake. Then walk the paved road around the campground to burn some calories!

Enjoyed our stay in a different site this time overlooking the River. The scenery was awesome! We had several hours each day of minimum flow and the fishing was great.

Restrooms were not as clean and up-to-date as some places we have stayed, but overall experience was excellent. Really enjoyed the view of the river, camp host and park staff very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back!
