What Guests Are Saying
Dam - Quarry campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-kept grounds, and great trout fishing in the Norfork River. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly park staff, with several expressing a strong desire to return. However, there are concerns about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some facilities needing maintenance, which some attribute to the behavior of other campers rather than park management.

My husband and I had the best time. We booked our next visit while we were still there during our first visit. Two things that aren’t really a big deal but wanted to mention: 1) I picked a site near a bath house because we have a pop up but I guess because it was winter that one was closed, I’m not sure; 2) we didn’t see any signs or know where to buy fire wood there, and this could have been something we overlooked. Again these are not deal breakers or anything major just 2 things we noticed.

Wintertime camping here is low numbers of campers, and easy to find almost any spot available. We camped near the playground which was great for the grandson, and with heated bathhouses nearby that was convenient as well. This is a great year round campground.

Always have a great experience here. We usually spend the day in one of the rivers fishing, and it’s so great to come back to camp, cook dinner and get washed up. Facilities are always clean and stocked!

I didn't really spend much time here (I arrived at dusk and left at dawn). I was able to recharge my house batteries after a week of dispersed camping in the nearby National Forests. Uncrowded on Boxing Day. I would definitely stay here again.

Made last minute reservations to take advantage of unseasonably warm weather in December. Host was very helpful on site selection. Grounds and facilities are well maintained. Wonderful fishing trip.

This is our favorite campground but the generation schedule never makes sense. We are dumbfounded as to why they can’t run the most water at night and less during the day. Now I realize the campground has nothing to do with the generation schedule but it does factor in how many times we visit per year.
